Association of Quantity Surveyors Thailand (AQST)

The Association of Quantity Surveyors Thailand is a professional organization that promotes the quantity surveying profession in Thailand.

Found in September 2022, our aim is to raise awareness, advance and unify the quantity surveying profession in Thailand through education, research, and continuous professional development.

Our main objectives are as follows:

  • The advancement of quantity surveying by improving and elevating the technical knowledge, educations standards and practice guidelines for the profession.
  • To provide accreditation pathways for people from different backgrounds to join the profession and become a professional member of the association.
  • To preserve the integrity and reputation of our profession by maintaining and enforcing a standard code of practice, as well as resolving issues of ethics and professionalism among our members.
  • To establish and maintain funding of benevolence, to conduct research, and to market and promote members interests in respect of prospective commercial opportunities.
  • To raise public awareness and confidence towards our profession, both within Thailand and internationally.
  • To acquire, develop and maintain resources for use by our members and to encourage our members to continue their professional development.
  • To originate and promote improvements in the law and to support or oppose alterations therein and to effect improvements in administration in matters connected with quantity surveying.
  • To collect and circulate statistics and other information related to quantity surveying, to print, publish, and demonstrations relating to quantity surveying.
  • To form associations and partnerships with other professional institutions and organizations, both locally and internationally.
  • To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives, provided that such things shall not for sharing profits or income earned according to Section 78 of the Civil and Commercial Code.
  • To perform or cooperate with charitable organizations for benevolent purposes and with public benefit organization for public interest.
  • To not engage in any political activity.
Corporate Governance
